The present article considers the current trends of export of ores and ore concentrates, the problems of export transportations through the seaports. It is marked that switching of export flows to the Russian ports is an import substitution policy element in the sphere of transport. The problems arising due to it before the enterprises of transport and ore- metallurgical complex have become the subject to analyze
