Annotation: The article describes the problem that is typical for some Russian cities: the condition of the road surface on the city’s road network is satisfactory, the traffic lights at the intersections are set up adequately, but the speed of public transport remains low.
To solve this problem the article considers the prerequisites and ways of reorganization of the traffic pattern at one of the T- junctions in Tyumen, which has the dedicated lanes for public transport.
The reorganization of the traffic scheme at the intersection of the Republic street and the street named after Maxim Gorky in the city of Tyumen allows you to increase the throughput of this intersection for public transport and to adopt it as a model scheme for other similar intersections of the city.
